Our instructor will guide you step-by-step on constructing the Sew Together Bag. It is perfect for holding sewing or crafting supplies. The zippered sections are perfect places to keep tools, thread, glue sticks, needle packs, etc. A quick grab and go bag.

You will learn the following techniques: Quilting on your sewing machine or embroidery machine, attaching binding and installing zippers using a zipper foot.
Bring your sewing machine or sewing and embroidery combo machine, basic supplies, and your favorite fabrics— we’ll provide the fun and inspiration!

Sewing machine AND or Sewing/Embroidery machine in good working order, power cord, foot control
Zipper foot
1/4" piecing presser foot
Walking foot
Quilting free motion foot
50 wt cotton thread to coordinate with fabric
80/12 Universal needles
90/14 Topstitch or Quilting needles
Seam ripper
Fabric marker (chalk, air erasable, water soluble, Frixion pen, etc
Rotary cutter, cutting mat and 6" x 24" quilting ruler
Clips or Pins
Glue Stick or placement tape
Pen and paper for taking notes
Exterior Fabric: (1) Fat quarter 18" x 22"
Lining Fabric: 1/2 yard by WOF
Pocket Lining: 1/3 yard by WOF
Binding: (1) fat quarter or 1/2 yard by 22"
1 yard fusible lightweight interfacing (SF101 or P44F -used on the lining/pockets)
(1) 18" x 22" Batting or fusible fleece (used for quilting the outside section) optional
(1) 18" zipper or zipper by the yard
(3) 9" zippers
4 zipper pulls
Optional pincushion -fabric scrap and small amount of stuffing 4" x 6"
