The Tandem Air Premium, Pet model R40P is the ultimate vacuum for
allergy sufferers and pet owners. It offers our highest level of
durability and performance in an upright vacuum.
Designed with Tandem Air dual motor technology, the R40P has two
motors that work together to pull dirt from deep in the carpet and power
tools for above-floor cleaning.
A seven-stage filtration system with a HEPA plus media filter,
self-sealing HEPA media bag, and granulated charcoal filter all ensure
no dust escapes.
Even when you can’t see deep-down dirt, the R40P can. Its dirt sensor
detects it lurking under your carpet and lights up to let you know when
it’s doing its job of pulling it up.
The R40P is also designed with a reinforced belt and has technology
that stops the brushroll when it senses a jam. Bag and filter sensors
remind you when your vacuum needs attention. Powerful tool cleaning
starts with up to a 15-foot cleaning reach engineered so pulling the
hose doesn’t topple the vacuum. Deluxe onboard tools are at-the-ready
but we’ve also included a bonus self-cleaning Fur-Get-It pet tool.

The R40 has a sturdy, telescoping aluminum wand, long stretch hose, dusting brush/upholstery combo tool, and crevice tool. All stored on the vacuum for easy access when you need them.
Variable Height Adjustment
You can adjust the height of your brushroll to 6 different settings, depending on the type of floor you need to clean.
Superior Protection.
A Hall sensor stops the brushroll when it jams, protecting the belt from snapping. You also get lifetime belt protection. So it shouldn't break, but if it does, you're covered. A helpful indicator light will tell you when the bag is full and ready to be changed.
Signals when Dirt is Found.
Two amber lights in the corner of the headlights tell you when dirt is detected, and turn off when the dirt is sucked up.
